As Ulster A, sponsored by CD Group, prepare for their 2017/18 British & Irish Cup campaign, details have been confirmed for five of the six pool stage games.
Ulster A will open their campaign at Banbridge RFC on Saturday 14th October versus the Scarlets Premiership Select before traveling to Mennaye Field, Penzance to take on the Cornish Pirates eight days later. Both games kick-off at 2.30pm.
In mid-December Ulster A will have back-to-back games against Hartpury RFC, firstly at Hartpury College on Saturday 9th, then at Ballymena RFC on Saturday 16th December, both at 2.30pm.
Full details of the Round 5 fixture versus the Cornish Pirates are still to be confirmed, but the game is scheduled to be played at Shaws Bridge, Belfast on the weekend of 12-14th January.
In the final pool stage game Ulster A face a trip to Wales to play the Scarlets Select on Saturday 20th January, with the game taking place at Llandovery RFC, kicking-off at 3.00pm.
Last season Ulster A advanced to the playoffs of the British & Irish Cup for the first time in five years, before falling to eventual winners Munster A at the quarter-final stage.
As the competition enters its ninth year, twenty teams will once again compete in five pools of four teams, with the pool winners and the top three runners-up progressing to the knockout phase.
