Ulster Branch supports 'BIG Spring Clean'

The IRFU (Ulster Branch), in conjunction with Tidy NI's 'BIG Spring Clean', are encouraging rugby clubs to 'Take up the Challenge' and help reduce the amount of litter in our communities.

The ‘BIG Spring Clean’ is Northern Ireland’s largest volunteering campaign aimed at cleaning up local areas and improving our environment. It’s easy to be part of the BIG Spring Clean. All you have to do is get involved in a clean-up event in your area or organise your own before the end of May 2013. When you register, your club will receive a FREE Clean Up Kit. It doesn’t matter how small or big your event is and you can choose where and when it takes place.

Taking part in the ‘BIG Spring Clean’ will not only help to improve your local environment but it will provide a great opportunity for your club to enhance its community involvement, develop positive links with other groups in your area, and also promote the work of your club in your local and surrounding communities.
