The Ulster team to play Munster in Saturday’s behind-closed-doors Development Interprovincial fixture at the IRFU High Performance Centre has been named.
Year one Academy lock Harry Sheridan will captain the young Ulster team, and will be partnered in the second row by Adam McNamee. Callum Reid, James McCormick and Joe Mawhinney start in the front row, with loose forwards Lorcan McLoughlin, Reuben Crothers and David McCann completing the pack.
Behind the pack, Lewis Finlay – who scored the crucial final try in last weekend’s win over Leinster – starts at scrum-half, with James Humphreys at fly-half. Ben Carson and Ross Taylor make up the midfield partnership, with Conor McKee and Conor Rankin occupying the wing berths and Shea O’Brien at full-back.
Josh Hanlon, Scott Wilson, Ryan McMahon, Paddy Browne, Jack Milton, Ross McKay, James McNabney, Zac Ward and Jude Postlethwaite will provide the reinforcements off the bench.
