“Everybody at Ulster Rugby is relishing the opportunity to go and test ourselves against the best sides in Europe.
Pool 2 is full of tough opposition, in the form of the Top 14 champions Stade Toulousain, Racing 92, Bath Rugby and Harlequins FC. All sides boast top quality players, and we will look forward to the challenge.
The Champions Cup has produced brilliant nights at Kingspan Stadium and we are all looking forward to that again”.
Ulster face Top 14 champions Stade Toulousain for the first time since last year's epic two legged Round of 16 tie, that saw the French side squeeze through. Ulster recorded a famous 26-20 victory in the away fixture that saw Robert Baloucoune score a hat trick of tries. The French side hit back in Belfast, with a classic 23-30 encounter going the way of the Frenchmen.
Ulster's last encounter with fellow Top 14 side, Racing 92, ended in a 26-22 home victory in the pool stage of the 2018/19 Champions Cup.
The province will also face opposition from the English Gallagher Premiership in both Bath Rugby and Harlequins FC.
Ulster will hope for a similar set of results from their last matches with Bath, having won both home and away in the 2019/20 Champions Cup campaign.
Dan McFarland's side also have a positive recent history with Harlequins FC, with their last fixtures against each other in the 2019/20 Champions Cup campaign resulting in two victories for the province.
