Ulster Rugby and Include Youth launch second year of partnership

Include Youth were thrilled to mark the end of the first successful year and kick start the second year of their charity partnership with Ulster Rugby, with a fantastic Family Fun Day held at Kingspan Stadium.

The annual event organised by Ulster Rugby was a huge success, with almost 4,000 members of the public attending. It was a great day out with plenty to keep supporters of all ages amused.

Both organisations have had an exciting first year together and are very much looking forward to what the next year has in store.

Paddy Mooney, Director of Include Youth, said, "The staff, players and supporters of Ulster Rugby have been unfaltering in their support and generosity towards Include Youth. The turnout at the Family Fun Day was incredible and the response to last years 'Christmas Present Appeal' was overwhelming. We are really looking forward to the present appeal again this year, along with lots more!"

In addition to the fundraising, Ulster Rugby has facilitated a number of work place tours, hosted by themselves and their sponsors, for the young people involved in Include Youth, as well as taking park in a week-long campaign for 'National Care Day' back in February.

Graffin Parke, President of Ulster Rugby, added, "It is fantastic for the staff and players to get the chance to spend time with the young people. Our fans are always very supportive of our chosen charity and we are delighted to have raised over £10,000 to date for Include Youth."

Commenting on the Family Fun Day, Ulster star Louis Ludik said, "It was brilliant to get the chance to meet so many fans. We've got a fantastic supporter base and it's awesome to be able to put on an event like this which brings the community together and also raises funds for such a worthy cause."
