Ulster Rugby has launched a 2016 calendar with all proceeds going to the province's charity partner of the year, Alzheimer's Society.
The calendar is available over the counter at the Ulster Rugby Ticket Office, over the telephone on 028 9049 3222 and at the Ulster Rugby Kukri Store in Kingspan Stadium and Victoria Square. It is priced at £10 with all proceeds going to the charity.
The calendar features photographs of Ulster senior players such as Rory Best, Tommy Bowe, Rob Herring, Chris Henry and Andrew Trimble.
The partnership got off to a great start last month with Ulster Rugby supporters raising more than £3,000 for Alzheimer’s Society’s ‘Don’t keep it under your hat’ campaign.
Richard Gilliland, Senior Regional Corporate Partnership Executive commented:
“After a great first match against the Cardiff Blues to kick-start our partnership with Ulster Rugby, we are really excited that the charity calendar is now launching. The first charity game raised £3,045 and we hope people also get behind this year’s calendar to support people affected by dementia.
“There are currently 19,765 people living with dementia in Northern Ireland and this figure is set to rise as the population ages. Money raised from the calendar will go towards helping people to live well with dementia in their local communities and fund research to find a cure.”
Thank you in advance for your support.
Participating players:
January – Nick Williams
February – Craig Gilroy
March – Luke Marshall
April – Robbie Diack
May – Rory Best
June – Rob Herring
July – Dan Tuohy
August – Stuart McCloskey
September – Tommy Bowe
October – Chris Henry
November – Paul Marshall
December – Andrew Trimble
