Ulster Rugby Foundation | Volunteer opportunities

Ulster Rugby is inviting applications for volunteers to help with fundraising efforts for our Foundation, which aims to help grow participation across grassroots rugby.

Key volunteer roles

  • To support the Foundation in its fundraising efforts, particularly at Ulster Rugby match nights and events.
  • Help to raise funds by engaging with fans, selling raffle tickets and enhancing awareness of the Foundation.

Experience, skills and qualities

  • A professional and friendly manner;
  • Good verbal communication skills;
  • The ability to work as a team;
  • Ability to work on own initiative;
  • Previous fundraising experience would be a bonus;
  • Commitment to work in compliance with policies and procedures.

Access NI and references

Please note some roles are subject to the receipt of a satisfactory Access NI check and references. Due to the nature of this role, all volunteers will be asked to sign a Volunteer Agreement.

Expenses and Equipment

This programme does not currently provide out of pocket expenses for volunteers.

Each volunteer will receive an allocation of Ulster Rugby Foundation branded kit to support them to carry out their role.

Additional information

It is anticipated that there will be a high level of interest in this volunteer opportunity. Anyone who expresses an interest will be asked to complete a volunteer registration form which will form the basis for shortlisting. Everyone who has been shortlisted will be invited to participate in a selection process to help us to identify the most suitable volunteers for the opportunity.
