In keeping with our commitment towards player safety and care, we are holding another teaching meeting for doctors and physiotherapists whether involved in rugby or not.
This will take place in the H3 Lounge, Kingspan Stadium, on Tuesday 27 September, 2016.
Programme:
6:00 PM – Registration and coffee/tea.
6:30 PM – Injuries to the arm, including elbow and wrist. (Mr Michael Eames, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon).
7:10 PM – Hamstring Injuries in Ulster Rugby. (Mr Gareth Robinson, Senior Physiotherapist, Ulster Rugby)
7.50 PM – Facial Injuries. (Mr Peter Ramsay-Baggs, Consultant Maxillo-facial Surgeon)
8:30 PM – Head injury and concussion. (Dr Michael Webb, Medical Director, Ulster Rugby)
9:00 PM – Discussion/Q&A session.
9:30 PM – End of meeting.
We hope as many club doctors and physiotherapists as possible will be able to attend.
