Ulster Rugby are currently seeking a new official charity partner for the next two seasons.
The Ulster Rugby Charity policy outlines the organisation’s commitment to harnessing the collective efforts of employees, players and the Ulster Branch in supporting the voluntary and community sector and reflects our will to demonstrate our social responsibility by supporting charitable endeavours.
Ulster Rugby has a long term agreement with the IRFU Charitable Trust, however in conjunction with this we are seeking a new charity partner for the 2016/17 and 2017/18 seasons. The charitable purpose for this cycle has been defined as the 'Children’s sector' therefore we invite charities that would like to partner with Ulster Rugby to submit a response based on the following:
Essential Criteria
> A registered charitable status at HM Revenue and Customs or equivalent
> A charity that works specifically within the Children’s only sector
> A charity that provides services throughout Ulster and employs local expertise
> Defined charity purpose, organisational structure and key objectives
> Demonstration of benefits or PR for charity to be linked with a high profile organisation
> Demonstration of how to maximise the partnership with Ulster Rugby in terms of assets that can be provided such as player appearances, stadium use, social reach, tickets and merchandise
This written proposal should be submitted by 4pm on Wednesday 29th June 2016 and marked for the attention of Fiona Hampton, Ulster Rugby, Kingspan Stadium, Mount Merrion Ave, Belfast, BT6 0FT or emailed to fiona.hampton@ulsterrugby.com.
Please note that previous charity partners of Ulster Rugby may not apply.
