Ulster Rugby is seeking a new charity partner for the 2019/20 and 2020/21 seasons after a successful partnership with Include Youth reaches its natural end in June 2019.
This will be the main charity partner to Ulster Rugby, alongside the long-term relationship with the IRFU Charitable Trust, which will continue.
The Ulster Rugby Charity Policy outlines the organisation’s commitment to harnessing the collective efforts of staff, players and the Ulster Branch to support the voluntary and community sector and reflects our will to demonstrate our social responsibility by supporting charitable endeavours.
The charitable purpose for this cycle has been defined as ‘Mental Health and Wellbeing’, therefore we invite interested charities within this sector to submit a response based on the following essential criteria: - A registered charitable status at HM Revenue and Customs or equivalent
- A charity that works specifically within the ‘Mental Health and Wellbeing’ sector
- A charity that provides services throughout Ulster and employs local expertise
- Defined charity purpose, organisational structure and key objectives
- Demonstration of synergy between charity and Ulster Rugby
- Demonstration of how to maximise opportunities through the partnership in terms of assets that can be provided such as player appearances, stadium use, reach, tickets and merchandise.
This written proposal should be submitted by 4.00pm on Monday 6th May 2019 and marked for the attention of Fiona Hampton, Ulster Rugby, Kingspan Stadium, Mount Merrion Avenue, Belfast, BT6 0FT or emailed to Fiona.Hampton@ulsterrugby.com.
Charities that have been successful in moving forward to the next stage of this process will be notified.
Please note that previous charity partners of Ulster Rugby may not apply.
