Following on from the great feedback received after the first course in September 2018, Ulster Rugby will be hosting a second Disability Inclusion Course for clubs on Sunday 24th February at Portadown RFC, from 10am-1pm.
Comprised of a short bit of theory and lots of practical activities, this course is of great benefit to anyone coaching a child with a disability whether within a disability tag section or a minis section. There are plenty of opportunities to ask questions and get support from other experienced coaches.
There will also be an opportunity for coaches to stay and complete Safeguarding Level 1, if they haven’t already attended.
Below is some of the feedback received from the first course:
“The coaching course was brilliant - we got so much out of it.”
“After the course, last Sunday morning’s training was full of new games, they loved it!”
“It gave our coaches confidence and lots of ideas.”
