Ulster Rugby tucks into new deal with Moy Park

Moy Park, Ireland's number one poultry brand is 'kicking off' another season with Ulster Rugby as its official poultry supplier.

This is the second year that the leading food company will supply the team with chicken as part of the squad’s nutritional regime.

Speaking at the launch, Aisling Graham, Moy Park Brand Marketing said:

“We are delighted to announce our renewed partnership with Ulster Rugby for 2016 / 2017.  We understand the importance of a healthy, balanced diet making our sponsorship of Ulster Rugby the perfect fit for Moy Park.  Chicken is a great source of protein, and is filled with essential vitamins and minerals - which are necessary for muscle development and recovery.

She continues:

“Following last year’s success, we wanted to build our partnership with the Ulster Rugby squad further.  This year we have prominent branding at the home of Ulster Rugby – the Kingspan Stadium, meaning over 18,000 fans will see the Moy Park brand on match-nights.  This includes, match scoreboard branding, pitch side hoarding and logo placement in match day programmes and on the Ulster Rugby website.  To help our Facebook fans ‘score’ this season, we’re running a number of Ulster Rugby competitions, giving away match tickets and signed merchandise!”

Neil Hanna, Business Development Manager at Ulster Rugby commented:

“At Ulster Rugby we pride ourselves on professionalism, dedication and team work, values which are echoed by Moy Park.  We place a strong emphasis on performance development for the club, and nutrition is a key part of this.  We have a dedicated group of professionals who ensure each player’s performance is optimised through their training and diet.  By working with an award-winning food company like Moy Park, we’re assured that our players are fuelled with the highest quality produce.  It’s fantastic to work with Moy Park for a second year and we look forward to the rest of the season.”
