The Ulster Rugby Visitor Experience are seeking tender applications for the following:
Tender for Transport
This is Department for Communities Funding and will involve 15 schools from Carrickfergus, Larne and Armagh.
Outline of requirements:
1. Collect schools across the province and bring to Kingspan Stadium and return to school x 15 schools (max 30 pupils and 3 teachers per school). Only 2 schools will be attending Kingspan at a time. Potentially 2 sessions in 1 day – 1 in the morning and 1 in afternoon.
2. Bring 15 schools and 4 SEN schools to Kingspan Stadium for a match night. (Return trip)
3. Bring the same schools to an agreed rugby club or other venue for a fun day at the end of the project (Return trip). Maximum of 15 schools, going to 3 clubs (5 schools will be attending each club)
Delivery of this event will start in February 2017 and finish in March 2017. Dates will be notified no later than 4 working days before coach is required.
Closing date for the tender is Tuesday 31st January at noon. Any late submissions will not be considered.
Tender for Catering
This is Department for Communities Funding and will involve 15 mainstream primary (P7) schools and 4 SEN schools.
Outline of requirements:
1. To provide catering for lunch option over the period of February and March, potentially 19 days in total, but 2 groups could be in on the same day. Each school will be bringing approx. 25 pupils and 3 staff.
2. Dietary requirements of attendees need to be taken into consideration and will be confirmed closer to the time.
3. We would like your proposal broken down into exactly what we will get for the budget, a hot food and cold food option (i.e. Lunch bags) plus refreshments for children and adults.
4. Total attendees for DFC Project will not exceed 600, cost is approx £5 per head.
Delivery of the funded project will start in February 2017 and finish in March 2017. Dates will be notified no later than 4 working days before catering is required.
Closing date for the tender is Tuesday 31st January at noon. Any late submissions will not be considered.
