The infographic below highlights some key figures achieved by Ulster Rugby’s Community Rugby Department over the past two years.
18 staff were employed in April 2013 through the ‘Promoting Equality, Tackling Poverty and Social Exclusion through Sport’ programme and they have delivered programmes to almost 20,000 people in non-traditional rugby areas. This has led to a huge increase in participation, particularly within the female game and in disability tag rugby.
This has been made possible due to the generous support of the NI Executive and the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure.
