The Ulster U18 Girls Management team have named a squad of 26 girls selected from nine clubs within the Province for the upcoming Inter-Provincial Series, which begins this Sunday 2nd September.
Katie Hetherington will captain the team alongside vice captain Kelly McCormill. Both have represented Ireland on the 7s stage and been an integral part of the Ulster setup for past three years.
The squad has a good mix of youth and experience who have worked extremely hard over the past few months in preparation for this year's series. This includes 13 uncapped players who are ready to make a mark in the Ulster jersey over the next few weeks.
Looking ahead to the Series, Head Coach Charlie Farrell commented, “We are excited to get stuck into the matches now, after a busy summer of training alongside the Ulster Senior Women. This has lifted the intensity at all sessions, and after two physical encounters against Rugby Ontario we feel like we are in a strong position heading into this campaign."
