Ulster Women's Rugby // Screening session

Ulster Rugby will be hosting an open screening session for females (aged 18+) wishing to try out for the provincial women's team. The session will take place at Portadown RFC on Sunday 6th August (10am to 12.30pm).

While rugby playing experience is preferable, Ulster Rugby is keen for females of any athletic background to participate in the day and get a taste of what rugby is all about.

Whether your experience is in athletics, netball, hockey, gaelic games, weight-lifting or any other sporting pursuit, we encourage you to give it your best and see if you are up to the challenge!

With the recent growth in the number of females playing the game, and the successes of the Irish Women in both the 7s and 15-a-side versions of the game, there has never been a better time to get involved.

Indeed, in both of these international squads there are prime examples of players who decided to ‘give it a try’, got hooked, and now travel the world playing the game they love. Could you be next?
