Ulster Women's Squad - Open Training Session - Final Call

The coaches and management of the Ulster Women's Squad would like to invite talented club players to 'try out' for the squad in the lead-in to this year's Interprovincial Series.

The squad will be led for the second year by Jarrett Truscott and former Ireland Women’s Coach Philip Doyle, and both men feel that this is set to be an exciting series with players vying for a coveted green jersey for the 2017 Women’s Rugby World Cup.

"This is a great opportunity for talented club players to show that they have the skills and passion to compete at Provincial level or higher" says Doyle, who should know what he is talking about having tasted success at national level leading Ireland to the Six Nations Grand Slam in 2013 and to the semi-finals of the Women’s World Cup in 2014.

The open training session will take place on Sunday 31st July at Portadown RFC from 10am until 1pm. If you are aged 18+ and would like to give it a try please email Team Manager Kerry at ulsterladiesrugby@gmail.com with your name, club and playing position.
