Head Coach Jonathan Gillespie has handed first competitive starts to Queen’s University talented backs Peita McAlister and Emma Jordan, as well as Cooke openside flanker Hannah Kilgore and Exiles fullback Vicky Irwin.
That inexperience is offset by the inclusion of the experienced Ilse van Staden, Sorcha Chipperfield and captain Nikita Armstrong (pictured).
There is also six new faces on the bench in the form of Shannon Heapes, Sabrina Higgins, Stacey Sloan, Steffi Clarke, Laura Johnston and Rebecca Smyth.
Commenting ahead of the game, Head Coach, Jonathan Gillespie said: “Everyone involved is really looking forward to the series and particularly the opening game against Munster - it will be a great marker to see where we are at. It’s exciting to see new players involved and that is testament to the great work carried out by Ulster Rugby’s Female Rugby Officers, as well as the many coaches and volunteers in our clubs and schools. I’d like to thank everyone for their support so far and I’m sure that will continue throughout the inter-pros.”
