The Ulster Women's team, sponsored by the Errigle Inn, has been named for the 2016/17 Inter-Provincial series opener versus Munster at Kingspan Stadium on Saturday 3rd December (kick-off 3.00pm).
Coaches Jarrett Truscott and Philip Doyle have named eight debutants in the match-day squad to take on reigning Inter-Provincial title holders Munster. Among those are Hannah Beattie, Storm Cobain, Vicky Irwin and Leah McGoldrick, who are coming straight off the back of the successful Ulster U18 Inter-Provincial winning team. Brigid Collins, Shauna Martin, Aishling O’Connell and Maeve Liston are the 4 other newcomers in the squad.
New captain Gemma McCutcheon will lead the side from the back row, and she will be ably assisted by the experienced ex-Ireland International, Eliza Downey, as vice captain.
