Fixture News
Ulster will take on reigning champions, La Rochelle, and Gallagher Premiership team, Sale Sharks, in the 2022/23 Heineken Champions Cup Pool stages.
Clubs were divided into two pools of 12 – Pool A and Pool B – by means of a draw, which took place this afternoon in Dublin, and the tournament will be played over eight weekends with four rounds of matches in the pool stage starting in December.
As a ‘Tier Two’ seeded team, Ulster Rugby will play both ‘Tier Three’ clubs representing different domestic leagues from their pool (home and away).
The eight highest-ranked clubs from each pool will qualify for the knockout stage which will consist of a Round of 16, now a single-leg tie, quarter-finals, semi-finals and the final at Aviva Stadium on 20 May 2023.
EPCR will now prepare the fixture schedule with an announcement of exact dates, venues, kick-off times and TV coverage to follow as soon as practicable.
Both of the home pool stage fixtures versus La Rochelle and Sale Sharks - plus the Bank of Ireland Pre-Season Friendly against Exeter Chiefs and every regular season home game in the United Rugby Championship - are included in Season Ticket packages.
2022/23 Season Tickets are now on general sale, priced from just £125 for Juniors and £223 for Adults.
