Following last week’s Interpro opener against Munster Rugby at City of Armagh RFC, the team named by Head Coach, Murray Houston, for tomorrow’s clash with Leinster’s Senior Women at Energia Park sees changes to the front row with Gemma McCamley making a positional switch to tighthead prop, while Aishling O’Connell comes in at loosehead prop. Captain, Beth Cregan, retains her position at Hooker.
Keelin Brady is once again named in the second row, with Taryn Schutzler coming in to support her this week. Sophie Barrett and Maebh Clenaghan remain in the back row, with Ireland U20s player, India Daley, set to make her mark in this year’s Vodafone Women’s Interprovincial Championship in the Number Eight jersey.
Meanwhile, the partnership of Laura Cairns and Abbey Moyles at scrum half and fly half respectively is retained for Round 2, with a centre partnership of Kelly McCormill and Peita McAllister.
Tomorrow’s line-up is completed by Maeve Liston, Niamh Marley, and Ella Durkan who was responsible for chalking-up nine of last week’s points in a 14-41 defeat.
On the bench will be Sarah Roberts, Megan Simpson, Ava Fannin, Stacey Sloan, Rachael McIlroy, Megan Edwards, Emma Jordan, and Toni Macartney.
