The Scarlets know Ulster very well, with Head Coach Dwayne Peel and Assistant Coach, Jared Payne, having previous history as coaches at Ulster.

Joe Roberts

Ellis Mee
Another who looks like a future star in the Welsh national side, Mee quickly established himself in the back three with strong running, aerial ability and finishing threat, scoring tries in both domestic and European competition.
His impressive form saw him named the club’s Breakthrough Player of the Season, and in 2025 he received his first call-up to the Wales squad, making his Six Nations debut against Ireland. 22-year-old Mee continues to develop as a dynamic attacking option.
Sam Costelow
A product of the Ospreys youth system and Oakham School, Costelow began his senior career with Leicester Tigers before returning home to join the Scarlets in 2020.
At Scarlets he has established himself as a key playmaker, known for his game management, accurate kicking and creative attacking play. The 25-year-old has been capped 21 times for Wales and has repesented his country at the Six Nations and Autumn Nations Series.
