This is another busy weekend for Ulster referees as they are involved in matches at home and abroad in the European Champions Cup, European Challenge Cup, Celtic Cup, All Ireland League and of course all the domestic league and cup competitions and friendly matches.
Jonny Erskine gets the weekend’s action underway on Friday night as he takes charge of Leinster A versus Munster A in the Celtic Cup. Chris Busby is one of the assistant referees in Energia Park, Dublin.
The action continues on Saturday with Simon McDowell acting as TMO at the Recreation Ground for the Bath v Toulouse Champions Cup Round 1 fixture.
In the European Challenge Cup, Mark Patton heads to Ashton Gate for Bristol against Zebre where he will be one of the assistant referees.
We welcome France’s Pascal Gauzere and his team of officials to the Kingspan Stadium for Ulster against Leicester on Saturday evening in the Champions Cup Round 1 match. Henry Richmond and Roger Cleave will be the 4th and 5th officials with Bill Halliday the official timekeeper.
