Ulster Rugby is seeking volunteers for the roles of Ulster U18 (Clubs) Head Coach and Ulster U17 (Clubs) Head Coach.

These are great opportunities for volunteers to become involved in the development of young rugby players to represent Ulster at U18 or U17 Age Grade. We are looking for 2 Head Coaches, 1 for each Age Grade who will be instrumental in providing a positive environment which develops and prepares the squads to compete successfully at Provincial level.

These roles will provide the squads with an excellent rugby experience aligned to player capacities while achieving desired results through good coaching and team performances in the build up to, and for the duration of, the 2015 Age Grade Inter-Provincial Series.

The role will be reviewed every year with the potential for the successful volunteer to renew their interest each year.

IRFU (Ulster Branch) feels that in order to be successful in this role, volunteers need to:
- be an IRFU Level 2 Accredited Coach (Stage 4 Rugby), or be actively working towards accreditation;
- have previous experience as an U18/U17 Clubs Head Coach or have recent Schools 1st XV Head Coaching experience;
- have strong leadership and people skills including confidence and good communication skills. They should demonstrate good observational skills and strong management skills including: interpersonal, leadership, motivation, patience and teamwork.

Previous involvement in the Ulster Rugby RDS Player Pathway would be beneficial.

Anyone who is interested in registering for the role should complete a Volunteer Registration Form which will form the basis for shortlisting.

This should be returned, along with the completed Volunteer Equality Monitoring Form, to Kerry Spence (volunteer@ulsterrugby.com) by 12 noon on Friday 10 October 2014.
