Ulster Rugby is offering a great opportunity for a volunteer coach to become involved in the preparation of players to represent Ulster in the Junior Inter-Provincial Series.
The Head Coach will be instrumental in providing a positive environment which develops and prepares the squad to compete successfully at Provincial level.
This role will provide the squad with an excellent rugby experience aligned to player capacities while achieving desired results through good coaching and team performances in the build up to, and for the duration of the 2016/17 Junior Inter-Provincial Series.
So what's in it for you?
You will have the opportunity to get involved in the sport you love and to meet coaches, players and Ulster Rugby staff from a wide variety of backgrounds. You will contribute to the ongoing development of some of the best and brightest club rugby players in Ulster and gain satisfaction from being part of a team where player welfare (physical and emotional) is central to their individual development. You will get a unique insight into rugby in Ulster and gain valuable experience and knowledge which could lead to enhanced career opportunities.
What will you be doing?
- You will implement the season plan for the Ulster Juniors Squad.
- You will identify and select the squad based on current needs and succession planning.

- You will develop and maintain good working relationships with players. You will plan, prepare and manage the players for each session and match.
- You will promote the profile of representative rugby in Ulster.
- You will work closely with identified coaches and Ulster Rugby staff.
