This is a great opportunity for volunteers to develop experience in video analysis. Working within the Club Youth Rugby structure this role will support development and help to improve the overall performance of young rugby players in Ulster. This is an ideal opportunity for someone wanting to develop their skills and gain valuable experience for a career in the sports industry.

What will you be doing?
- You will attend and record footage of weekly training sessions. In addition, you will attend and record footage of matches as needed.
- You will cut and code footage of individuals and units in line with Ulster Rugby templates.
- You will circulate footage to coaches and players within agreed timelines.
- You will keep a database of footage with all of the important identifying information.
- You will work closely with the Head/Lead Coaches and liaise with other volunteers as needed.
- You will liaise with relevant Ulster Rugby staff as needed.
To be a successful Video Analyst you should be able to commit to attending training sessions every Monday evening and matches as needed. In addition, you should allow time each week to cut, code and circulate the footage.
This role will begin in February. It will be reviewed in May with the potential to extend through the summer period into the 2016 Interprovincial Championship. This role is based at Meadowbank Sports Arena, Magherafelt however you may be asked to travel to a variety of locations dependant on matches.
Who will you be working with?
Michael Black (Age Grade Performance Manager) will be your Volunteer Manager coordinating your recruitment and induction. Support in carrying out the role will be provided by the Ulster Rugby Analysis Department.
