The Heritage Lottery Fund has awarded Ulster Rugby a financial boost to deliver the first round of the unique and innovative 'Your Club Your History' project.
The project seeks to tell the story of rugby clubs in Ulster by capturing, preserving, celebrating and sharing the memories, mementoes, reminiscences and records of over 150 years of rugby union history in the Province.
In doing so, the project will address the appetite for Ulster’s clubs to trace their rich history and heritage, whilst engaging and benefitting a range of people and communities.
Upon completion of the initial one year development phase, and if successful with round 2, the project will engage with volunteers, community groups, schools and other members of the local community in learning, outreach and education programmes which will ensure social inclusion, community cohesion, active ageing, health & wellbeing and education are interwoven throughout.

We are excited to be able to develop this project with rugby clubs and other stakeholders with the potential of securing another three years of funding to roll out activities across the Province.
