Out Now - Rugby Clubs of Ulster: A Celebration of the Game Across Our Province
For generations, rugby clubs have been the beating heart of our game in Ulster.
From grassroots volunteers and dedicated coaches to lifelong supporters and players who have gone on to represent Ulster and Ireland, our clubs have shaped the rich rugby heritage that exists across all nine counties. Today, 49 affiliated clubs continue to provide opportunities for thousands of people to play, coach, referee, volunteer and belong within the rugby community.
That proud history is now being captured in a remarkable new publication, The Rugby Clubs of Ulster: A Celebration.
Written by Dr Ken Addley OBE, this beautifully produced hardback coffee table book tells the story of every club affiliated to the Ulster Branch of the IRFU. Across 250 pages and featuring hundreds of photographs, the publication celebrates the achievements, personalities, traditions and unforgettable moments that have helped shape rugby throughout the province.
Whether your connection to the game comes through a local club, school rugby, refereeing, volunteering or supporting Ulster Rugby from the stands, this book offers a unique opportunity to explore the stories that have built our rugby community.
Importantly, every copy purchased will also support the work of the Ulster Rugby Foundation, with 100% of net proceeds being donated to the charity.
As Ulster Rugby continues to inspire lifelong participation in the game and support the growth of rugby across the province, preserving and celebrating the stories of our clubs has never been more important. The Rugby Clubs of Ulster provides a lasting record of the people, places and communities that have made our sport what it is today.
