With their season opener against Connacht taking place this Saturday (kick-off 2.30pm at Malone RFC), Head Coach Dan Carson has named a 35-strong panel for this season’s PWC Under 18 interprovincial championships.
The coaches have cast their net far and wide and they have drawn up a panel with 11 clubs in total being represented in this year's squad.
“Training has been going really well, and I would like to thank Portadown College for the use of their facilities over the last number of months,” said Carson.
“Every member of the squad has sacrificed so much over the few months, and their commitment has shown through in all the training sessions. Everyone is now looking forward to the season opener against Connacht, and confidence is high for a successful campaign.”
Following Saturday’s tussle with Connacht, Ulster are on the road to Munster, before Leinster visit the Affidea Stadium on 22nd August.
The season comes to an end a week later with finals day, which this year is being hosted by Mullingar RFC.
