Head Coach Dan Carson has named his matchday squad for Saturday’s PwC Under 18 Girls Interprovincial opener against Connacht at Malone RFC. (Kick-off 2.30pm)
Katelynn Magee has been selected to start on the right wing, and the Banbridge player has also been named as captain this week. and she is supported in the leadership group by Emily Irwin and Alanna Scullion.
Scullion will take her place at loose-head prop, and she is joined in the front by Ballymoney’s Yoanna Natovska and Holly Stockman from Ballynahinch.
Rachel Easdon and Maisie Bowden will pack down together in the second row with Isabella Taylor, Elsie Brown and Charlotte Boyd making up the back row.
Rachel Douglas gets the nod at scrumhalf with Malone’s Rachel Kelly being named at fly-half.
Partnering Emily Irwin in the centre is her Omagh clubmate Olivia Kyle, while Anna Murray and Cora Hayes join Katelynn Magee in making up the back three.
Grace Fitzpatrick, Erin Playfair and Isabella Copeland have been named as cover for the front row, with Erin McCay and Olivia Beggs giving Carson further forward options from the bench.
Providing back-up for the backs will be Ava Fegan, Joy Lemon and Charlotte Thompson.
