The IRFU have confirmed that both Bryn and Zac Ward have been called up to Andy Farrell's Ireland squad for the inaugural Nations Championship fixtures next month.
The call up comes following the news that Leinster's Caelan Doris and Tommy O'Brien have both been ruled out of next month's fixtures due to injuries picked up in their URC Grand Final victory over the Bulls in Dublin.
The Ballynahinch brothers are both uncapped for the senior national side but have played together for Ireland XV against England 'A'.
21-year-old back rower, Bryn Ward, gained experience as part of the Ireland Six Nations squad earlier this year after a whirlwind debut season in professional rugby.
Ireland take on Australia (Saturday, 4 July), Japan (Saturday, 11 July) and New Zealand (Saturday, 18 July) in the Southern Hemisphere Series.
Leinster hooker Dan Sheehan will lead the three-match Tour, with Ulster now having ten players in the 36-player squad travelling to Sydney.
