"Goodness me, that is absolutely sensational."
"I think this is the best thing I've ever seen, it's disgustingly beautiful."
"That is magic."
"You could watch that on repeat all day."
Those were a handful of the comments made online after the try that went viral. Did a prop really just do that?
Ulster fans had been waiting patiently to watch the Australia international prop in a white jersey since his short-term signing was announced last year.
Bell linked up with the province in December after a gruelling international schedule with the Wallabies, which included a home British & Irish Lions tour in the summer, followed by Rugby Championship and Autumn Nations test matches.
With 50 caps at just 25 years old, Bell is one of the top rated props in world rugby and his unique ability was summed up in his award-winning try.
Picking up the ball at the base of a ruck outside the Cardiff 22, the prop spotted a gap in the Cardiff defensive line and produced a dummy pass pump to bolt into the space.
The loosehead prop then showed unbelievable footwork to side-step the defending full-back, who was put on the floor by his movement.
Bell pinned his ears back and motored his 125kg frame towards the tryline, and had the awareness for one more side-step on a defender before he dived over for the score. His Ulster teammates rushed over in bewilderment at what they had witnessed.
The try has now been voted as the official URC Try of the Season by fans after voting via social media.
A unique try from a unique prop.
