Danske Bank Ulster Schools’ Medallion Shield
On Tuesday 18 November, Royal School Dungannon hosted Bangor Academy in the second round of the Medallion Shield.
RS Dungannon won this game, 31-17.
Danske Bank Ulster Schools’ 2XV Cup
On Wednesday 19 November, the three Round 1 games of the competition took place.
Antrim Grammar School played Belfast High School in a very closely contested, high-scoring game Belfast High won 43-38.
Foyle College played Portadown College and recorded a 50-10 victory.
Larne Grammar School played Limavady Grammar School in another very closely contested game the Limavady Grammar School team won 16-15.
The draw for the Second Round of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools’ 2XV Cup was recently released.

Danske Bank Ulster Schools’ 3XV Cup
The draw for the first round of the 3XV Cup was recently released.
The results of the draw are as follows:

1XV Friendlies
On Wednesday afternoon, three 1XV friendly games took place.
Ballyclare High School played Dromore High School in a controlled game Ballyclare won 40-0.
Josh McColgan, Jude Semple, Tom Falls, Harry Martin and Lewis Flynn scored the points for Ballyclare.
Banbridge Academy hosted Friends’ School Lisburn and won the game 20-5.
Max Ireland and Dawson Knox scored the Banbridge tries to which Max added two successful conversion kicks as well as two penalty goals.
Joel Irwin touched down for the consolation unconverted try for Friends’.
Wallace High School played Royal School Armagh in a game Wallace won 29-22.
Alex Stevenson, Adam Crone, Elijah Herdman and Luka Matchett scored the Wallace tries with Alex adding the extras to three tries as well as scoring one penalty kick.
RS Armagh scored four tries through Patrick Kellett, Nathan Hamilton, with two, and Sam Gray.
Ben Best was successful with one conversion kick.
Four 1XV games took place on Friday 21 November.
Bangor Grammar School hosted Down High School at Uprichard Park, home of Bangor RFC, in a game Down High won 22-10.
The Bangor points came through two unconverted tries from Rory Fulton and Ryan Gowdy.
Down High scored four tries through Cameron Connolly, Jacob Bradshaw, Joe Bailie and Freddie Harris.
Josh McCaughey added the extras to one of the tries.
Both teams, their coaches and supporters, would like to thank Bangor RFC for the provision of facilities and hosting the game.
Foyle College hosted Enniskillen Royal Grammar School in a floodlit game at Foyle College, which finished as a 15-7 victory for the home team.
Thom O’Neill, Shay Grimes and Cian O’Leary each ran in for an unconverted try for Foyle.
Late in the game, Ben Wallace touched down for an Enniskillen try which was converted by Sam Paton.
Meanwhile, at Gibson Park, home of Malone RFC, Grosvenor Grammar School played Antrim Grammar School.
Antrim Grammar won this encounter by 22-16.
Grosvenor’s points came through a try from Matthew Cunningham to which Sam Ferguson added one successful conversion kick as well as three penalty goals.
Jake Quigley scored a brace of tries for Antrim Grammar with Jonah Woolley touching down for a third try.
Isaac Lynn added two successful penalty kicks as well as one penalty goal.

Later that evening, the Dub Arena, home of Queen’s University RFC, was the venue when a very large crowd of enthusiastic supporters gathered to watch Royal Belfast Academical Institution play Campbell College.
The exciting game saw RBAI record a 29-13 victory.
Adam Boyd ran in for two tries with Benjamin McCarten, Elliott Magowan and Ross Dillon touching down for one try apiece.
Charlie O’Connor was successful with two of his conversion kicks.
The Campbell points came though a try from Harry Wells which was converted by Jack Best, who was also successful with two penalty kicks.

A few 1XV fixtures took place on Saturday 22 November.
Coleraine Grammar School hosted Rainey Endowed School in a training type game which saw both teams use extended squads of players.
During the final session, both teams scored three converted tries.
Joshua Hawe and Austin Henry worked hard throughout the training game play scenarios and laid the foundations for Oliver McLean, Joe Coates and Luke McAuley to run in tries for Coleraine Grammar School team in the final ten-minute full game.
Ben Todd added the extras to all three tries.
For Rainey, players such as Matthew Chambers and Eli Orr worked hard during the training games scenario and laid the foundations for Luke Caskey, who touched down for a brace, and Emmett McNulty who ran in for a third Rainey try.
Adrian Martin was successful with all three of his conversion kicks.
Methodist College travelled to Blackrock College in Dublin where they played Rockwell College from Cashel, Co. Tipperary.
MCB won the game 38-12, scoring six tries in the process.
Luca Vericat touched down for two tries with Rhys Hill, Oliver Gartley, Noah Davey and Alex O’Hagan touching down for one try apiece.
Louis Curran was successful with four of his conversion kicks.
Matteo Gutierrez and Archie O’Sullivan touched down for the Rockwell College tries with Cameron Fitzpatrick adding one successful conversion.

Omagh Academy played Wallace High School in a game Wallace won 26-13.
Ryan Mitchell scored the Omagh try with Sam Harper adding the conversion alongside two successful penalty kicks.
James Gould, with two, Josh Martin and James Andrews were the Wallace try scorers.
Alex Stevenson was successful with three of his conversion kicks.
Royal School Dungannon played Dromore High School in a game RS Dungannon won 33-19.
James Gibson and Harry Wylie each ran in for two tries with Isaac Neil touching down for a fifth try.
Joel Clarke was successful with four of his conversion kicks.
Dromore High scored three tries through Harry Cromie, Jonny Beckett and Alfie Clarke.
Alfie was also successful with two of his conversion kicks.
These Danske Bank Ulster Schools’ 3XV Cup Round 1 games MUST be played on/before Saturday 29 November.
