### Captain's Notes
"In 2020, it was a bit of a nail-biting finish to win that day, but it was great to bring home a cup that had never been won in the club's history. We had picked up the Towns Cup the previous season for the first time in 82 years so winning the Junior so soon really enforced our realisation that we weren't just there to make up the numbers in these competitions.
"We had lost 3 finals in quick succession before we started winning a few, so it shows a bit of prior experience of playing in a stadium goes a long way towards to achieving silverware.
"Overall as a club it's been a fantastic year right across the board, from senior men's and ladies right down to youth and even minis, there's been plenty of competition success, but even to see the development and atmosphere around the club is a far cry away from 5 years ago, so it's great to see we're moving in the right direction.
"We've seemed to come up against Ballyclare regularly in knockout games over the last few years, and it's always an enjoyable match against them. Unfortunately we were on the wrong side of the results this year, but they definitely were competitive games. Monday will be no different, it'll be a tough, close game and hopefully it's good viewing for the crowd.
"For this to be my final game, that's the plan at the moment anyway.
"It's a big commitment with family life at the moment and it's also a good time to step aside and let some of the younger lads make their mark, lads like Oisin Timoney who are looking a bit of exposure and to get into the 1st XV. Monday will be about helping the young lads figure out how to lift some silverware after 80 minutes, so they can do it again and again in the future. They certainly have the ability, they just need a bit of experience behind them. If we can manage that, that'll be a good enough send off for me."
"To reach another final at Kingspan Stadium, it's really important as it provides a different focus from our league games and the squad enjoy the pressure that comes with cup rugby.
"Reaching a cup final is a positive thing for the club and especially the younger players in the squad.
"It’s always been a tough and physical game against Enniskillen. We managed to come away with a win from both league games this season but are expecting Monday to be a challenging final.
"It’s been a fun but challenging season, we competed well in our league and reached the latter stages in all 3 cups. We hope to end the season on a high with a win in the Junior Cup Final.
"I'll be telling the lads to relax and enjoy the occasion.
"The results of a cup final can be determined in the smallest of moments during the game. We need to be clinical and use previous experiences at Kingspan Stadium to our advantage."
