Biography
Michael Lowry is an energetic back who is an important member of the Ulster Rugby Senior side.
A Danske Bank Schools Cup winning captain with RBAI, Michael made his Ulster senior debut in 2018 against Munster and has continued to develop into a top attacker.
He can perform on either wing, but his main strengths are at the full-back positions with his ability to read the game and make space.
His ability and speed to beat defenders and create opportunities earned him an Ireland call up in 2022, scoring a hat- trick against Italy.
Last season, Michael was called up to the Ireland XV squad for his great form in the URC and Challenge Cup.
He had the proud honour of captaining an Ulster side for the first time in a competitive fixture last season against Munster.
