Biography
Jack Murphy is an exciting young fly-half who has quickly established himself as an important part of the Ulster Rugby backline.
Jack joined the Ulster Academy in 2024 after coming through the Leinster pathway and made his senior debut against Munster in December of that year.
A skilful playmaker, Murphy has great vision and a kicking game that has helped to establish him as a regular in the senior side.
After featuring as a Academy player, Jack quickly progressed onto a senior contract until 2028.
Jack was a former Irish U20s player, under Head Coach and father, Richie Murphy, and was the top points scorer in the 2024 Under-20 Six Nations Championship
He also represented Ireland on an Emerging Ireland Tour in 2024.
Last season Jack was called up to Ireland XV for his impressive displays at fly-half.
