Biography
An Ireland international hooker, Tom Stewart is one of the strongest hookers in Irish Rugby and plays a key role for his province.
The 25-year-old is a powerful carrier and a huge threat around the set piece, with his finishing ability.
A former player for Belfast Royal Academy and the Ulster pathway, Stewart enjoyed a breakthrough 2022/23 season, scoring a leading 16 tries in the URC and earning the URC Next Gen Player of the Year award.
Tom made his Ireland international debut against Italy in August 2023.
Last season he was made captain of Ireland XV against Spain in November 2025.
Following his strong form, he was named in Andy Farrell's Six Nations squad and made his first Guinness Six Nations appearance against Wales in March 2026.
Despite his young age, Tom has a lot of top experience and is viewed as a leader within the Ulster ranks.
