One of the most dangerous wingers in Irish Rugby, Jacob Stockdale is one of Ulster's key men in attack with a superb try-scoring ability.
The 30-year-old is a very experienced player, with over 140 appearances for his province and 43 caps for Ireland.
A former Wallace High School player, Jacob made his senior debut in 2016 and quickly made his mark with his standout talent.
His combination of physicality and blistering pace saw him become a regular feature and he quickly became a fan favourite.
He made his Ireland senior debut in 2017 and was part of the team that won the 2018 Six Nations Grand Slam, scoring a then-record seven tries during the campaign. His performances saw him named the Player of the Tournament.
After battling an ankle injury that kept him out of action for a year in 2022, Jacob has continued to perform at a high level for Ulster.
In 2025/26, he showed that he could prove a great option at full-back for Richie Murphy's team, with his reading of the game, running power and ability to scan the pitch for attacking opportunities.
With a larger physical frame and his match-winning ability, Jacob will be aiming to add new chapters to his Ulster story in the season ahead.
