A talented forward, Bryn Ward made his senior debut as an Academy player in October 2025 against the Lions in Johannesburg. 

It was a proud moment for the Ballynahinch man, as he made his senior debut alongside his elder brother, Zac Ward. 

Ward took his opportunity with both hands and starred for the province with back-to-back Player of the Match performances against Munster in the URC and Stade Francais in the EPCR Challenge Cup. 

The young forward would continue to impress and he was called into the Ireland Senior Men's squad for the Guinness Six Nations after being involved in the pre-tournament camp. 

In March, Ward signed his first senior contract, moving from Academy to senior ahead of the 2026/27 season.
