Biography
An energetic Back Row forward, David McCann, has established himself as a important member of the senior men's side.
The 26-year-old was an ever-present force in 2025-26, making 22 appearances across the URC and EPCR Challenge Cup.
He was also called up to the Ireland 'XV' side to face England 'A' after his performances.
The former RBAI and Ireland U20 captain is a physical forward with a high work-rate, who excels in the breakdown and consistently puts up leading tackling numbers.
After his performances across the 2023-24 season, he was named the Bank of Ireland Ulster Men's Player of the Year.
In a competitive Ulster back row, David will be aiming to cement his position and take his game to new levels in 2026-27.
