Biography
Jude Postlethwaite is a powerful and versatile centre who has emerged as one of Irish Rugby's most exciting centres.
Standing at 1.93m and around 108kg, Postlethwaite combines size and power with strong footwork, pace and an ability to break lines from the midfield positions.
A product of Royal Belfast Academical Institution and the Ulster Academy, Postlethwaite made his senior debut against Cardiff in 2023 and has continued to grow into the senior game.
The Lisburn man was member of Ireland’s 2022 Under-20 Grand Slam-winning side, he has also represented Ireland Sevens and Emerging Ireland before progressing into the senior international squad.
His performances for Ulster in 2024/25 saw him score six tries in 18 appearances, earning further recognition with an Ireland XV appearance against Spain last year.
He signed a new contract in 2025, keeping him at Ulster until 2029 with the best years of his career ahead of him.
