Biography
Scott Wilson is an exciting young tighthead prop who has emerged through the Ulster Rugby pathway into an important member of the senior squad.
A product of Wallace High School and Queen’s University Belfast, Wilson joined the Ulster Academy in 2022 after helping Ireland U20s to a Six Nations Grand Slam that year under Richie Murphy.
The liefelong Ulster fan made his senior Ulster debut against Munster in November 2023 and quickly caught the eye with his explosive ball-carrying ability.
He has continued to be an important member of the Ulster front row, and reached his 50th Ulster appearance last season.
His progress has also brought international recognition, with Wilson selected for the Emerging Ireland tour to South Africa and Ireland XV squads.
Having signed a new contract keeping him at Ulster until 2028, the 24-year-old continues to develop into a powerful presence at tighthead.
