Biography
Tom O’Toole is a powerful and versatile prop who has established himself as a key member of both the Ulster Rugby and Ireland front rows.
Born in Drogheda and raised in Australia, O’Toole returned to Ireland as a teenager, playing for Campbell College and joined the Ulster Academy in 2017.
He made his senior debut against Edinburgh in 2018 and has since become one of Ulster’s most experienced forwards, with over 100 appearances in an Ulster jersey.
Tom made his senior Ireland debut in 2021 against USA, and has continued to earn selection for Six Nations campaigns and the Nations Championship.
Earlier this year, he played a key role for Ireland during the 2026 Guinness Six Nations and the Nations Championship, playing as a loosehead prop.
Still in his twenties, Tom's versatility to play at loosehead and tighthead make him a valuable asset for both Ulster and Ireland.
