Ben is a tenacious centre, with a high work rate and strong ball-carrying ability. 

The Lisburn man played his schools rugby with Wallace High School before joining the Ulster Rugby Academy in 2020. 

Ben formed a formidable midfield partnership with Jude Postlethwaite in Ireland U20s Grand Slam winning Six Nations Championship in 2022. 

He made his senior Ulster debut against Connacht in the URC back in 2023 and marked his first senior start against Vodacom Bulls with a first try. 

With competition strong in the Ulster midfield positions, Ben will be aiming to put down a marker this season and compete for playing time.
