Biography
An Ireland international, Robert Baloucoune, is an explosive winger, whose pace, power and finishing ability make him one of the most dangerous attackers in world rugby.
The Enniskillen man broke into Ulster’s senior side during the 2018/19 season and has since established himself as a regular figure.
His eye-catching performances, including a memorable hat trick against Toulouse in the Champions Cup in 2022 marked him as one of the most lethal wings in Europe.
Rob made his Ireland debut in 2021 against the USA and would feature again in the 2022 Autumn Nations Series.
The next few seasons would see Rob battle with injuries keeping him out of action. Last season Rob put together a good run of matches for Ulster which saw him selected for the 2026 Guinness Six Nations.
It was a standout championship for Ulster's wing, as he scored three tries on the way to a Triple Crown. Those performances in green saw him named the BKT Rising Player of the Tournament.
When fit and healthy, Baloucoune is a clinical finisher for his province and will be looking to continue his quality performances into the 2026/27 season.
